The district is pleased to announce the promotion of Armando Quintana to the position of Operations Supervisor. He previously served as Operations Foreman.
Armando relocated to Littleton in 1999 and started working for the district that same year. He had previously worked at the Alamosa Water Department. Prior to that he served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years and served in Operation Desert Storm.
Working for the district has developed Armando’s career considerably. He moved up the ranks from an Operator I, to Operator II, then Operations Foreman, to ultimately becoming Operations Supervisor.
As the Operations Supervisor, Armando is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of water distribution, wastewater collection, building, vehicle, and all supporting facilities and assets owned by the district and all other entities that contract for district services.
Armando’s advice for prospective district employees is “show up early, work hard and take advantage of educational opportunities (provided by the district).”
With 25 years of dedicated service to the district, Armando has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise. Please join us in congratulating Armando on his well-deserved promotion!
