Winterize Your Sprinkler System Before it Freezes
The district would like to remind its customers to turn off and winterize their sprinkler systems before the first freeze of the season.Without proper preparation, your sprinkler system might be damaged by freezing temperatures.
- Shut off the water supply to the irrigation system.
- If you have a timer/automatic controller, don’t forget to turn that off too.

The district uses best practices to maintain sewer systems and lessen the risk of a blockage. This includes video and physical inspections, the use of root treatment chemicals, and regular cleaning. But it is up to the homeowner to protect their sewer line.
