For more than 40 years, American Water Works Association (AWWA) and its members have celebrated Drinking Water Week, a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to join together in recognizing the vital role water plays in daily lives.
On April 26, Governor Polis issued the “safer at home” executive order. This order allows the gradual reopening of businesses if social distancing guidelines and cleaning and safety protocols are met. Many counties including Jefferson and Arapahoe County have extended their stay-at-home orders until May 8, while Douglas County is conforming to the new “safer at home" order.
The District continues to fully operate under CDC guidelines and Governor Polis’ executive "Stay-at-Home Order" . District operators continue to work in the field maintaining and repairing district infrastructure while practicing social distancing and wearing protective face masks. We ask that you do not approach any of our field staff at this time.
